Sarah Chalfy is a musical denizen of cabarets, clubs, concert halls, cathedrals, and theatres throughout NY, the US, and Europe.  Her repertoire spans the medieval through heavy metal, five languages and countless genres.  She has been noted by the NY Times for her "appealing...dramatic bent and command of tone color", and her "clear tone, agility and abundant spirit".  She has performed with the likes of Paul Gemignani, Mark Morris, Richard Forman, and Werner Herzog.  She continues her exploration of the relationship between sounds and words with every performance she gives.  Upcoming performances include a solo theatrical/cabaret show of Renaissance Italian arias, and the release of her recently recorded cabaret album.
